Flashcard Studio 2.0 is Now Available

Members of the PocketLearn community can now download the new version of Flashcard Studio, which  targets Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.  Other than requiring the newer .NET Framework, this new Flashcard Studio fixes a few bugs and brings to the table a major new feature... Importing content from Excel spreadsheets and CSV (Comma Separated Value) files.  Importing from these types of files is now a breeze.  In fact, we've dropped support for importing from "specially-tagged" text documents because it was tedious and cumbersome to insert the many required "special tags".   To our knowledge, nobody used that feature, so please let us know if you were one of the few brave souls who will miss that.

There are some other great things happening  at PocketLearn and they're just around the corner.  Our web site is new and improved.   One thing you might have already noticed is that  the software is now completely FREE.  We'll soon have some great new features, but until then, enjoy the site..

About reward points

You can receive reward points when you refer a friend to the web site or when you publish content.  To receive the points for a referral, your friend must become a member of PocketLearn.com with a verified email address.  You receive 5 reward points for each such referral.

To receive reward points for publishing, you must submit a title that is subsequently approved by us.  Our approval is necessary to filter out content that violates the terms of use and content that is deemed unsuitable in any way.  An example of the latter includes content that appears to us to have been submitted only to receive points and to have little or no value for the PocketLearn community.  You receive 5 reward points for each title that gets published on our web site.

At some time in the near future, you will be able to redeem reward points for merchandise.
